Lansing’s Fallen Heroes Memorial Day

Lansing’s only police officer to be killed in the line of duty, Ken Novak, died on April 8, 1992.  Lansing’s only marine to be killed in Iraq, Phil Martini, died on April 8, 2006. Each year the Lansing Historical Society mounts an exhibit to honor these two men who gave their all.  Following the vigil on April 8th, the exhibit will remain in place through the month of April.

The exhibit will be open on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Lansing Historical Museum, located in the lower level of the Lansing Public Library, 2750 Indiana Ave., Lansing, IL
